Negative taken for April 15, 1962, Arkansas Gazette article "Oldtime Note on a Girl Telegrapher," 5E:2. Copy negative of the Bank of Fordyce, the Hampton House, and Kick's Stable in Fordyce, Dallas County, Arkansas, from Camilla Hough Conklin's, of Helena, Phillip County, Arkansas, Cotton Belt Railroad booklet. Conklin's father, Dr. C.L. Hough, a physician was Cotton Belt agent at Bearden for 15 years before transferring to Garland City in Miller County. Camilla became a photographer, telegrapher and depot helper before becoming station agentwhen her father gave up the position. Several months later she moved to Helena with husband Charlie.
